Art classes, camps and events at Creō Art Studio are so much fun! We want to make sure everyone at who participates at Creō has the best experience possible and to do that, we want to make sure you're aware of our expectations and protocol.

BY ENROLLING INTO A CLASS, CAMP OR EVENT WITH CREō ART studio & Creō Kids, YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING:
KINDNESS & RESPECT
Our goal is to foster a positive learning environment filled with creativity and camaraderie for both our students and parents. You and your child agree to treat all participants of Creō Art Studio and Creō Kids programs with kindness and respect.
SOMETIMES WE GET MESSY
We provide aprons to protect clothing and we also love to have fun and get messy! You will make sure your child is properly dressed for Creō – this means wearing shoes and clothing that is ok to get dirty.
RESPECT OUR MATERIALS & studio
As an art studio, we use a wide range of materials in our art projects including, but not limited to: paint, glue, pastel, chalk, fiber, glue guns, scissors, hammers, and other sharp objects. While we do our best to monitor every child’s use of these materials, accidents may occur from time to time due to the inherent risk in using these materials. You understand that these materials are not meant for consumption and will instruct your child not to consume any materials and to always conduct themselves in a safe manner. While participating in Creō Art Studio & Creō Kids programs your child agrees to respect the studio and all items within the studio.
SAFETY FIRST
The safety of your child and other children is our top priority. You acknowledge that your child has no physical, emotional, or social conditions that make it dangerous or unwise for your child to safely participate in our art programs. Running in the art studio is dangerous for both your child and others around them so your child agrees not to run when participating in Creō Art Studio & Creō Kids programs.
PERMISSION TO SHARE
We love promoting our art classes, camps and events and sharing it with others. We may take photographs, video and/or audio (the “Media”) during our art classes, camps and parties to post on our social media. We are the sole owner of any Media and may use the Media in any way, in our sole discretion. You grant us permission to use your child’s image without any restriction and waive your right to inspect or approve the Media.
PERMISSION TO PARTICIPATE
You give your permission for your child to participate in Creō Art Studio & Creō Kids programs. You release and hold Creō Art Studio & Creō Kids harmless from any and all liability that may arise in connection with the studio's programs.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of British Columbia.
I have thoroughly read, fully understand and agree to be bound by the terms of these Terms & Conditions. These Terms & Conditions will govern my child’s current and future participation in Creō Art Studio & Creō Kids programs.
BY BOOKING A PARTY WITH Creō Art Studio, YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING:
Creō Art Studio EXPECTATIONS
For every party to be as special and successful as possible, we need everyone on the same page. Please read our GENERAL POLICIES as a guide for you and your guests.
PAYMENT & Fees
To book a party date and time a deposit of $150 is require at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due the day of the party.
The base fee of $300 + GST includes 2 hours of studio time and supplies/instruction for up to 10 participants.
Additional participants are $25 per person.
Time Line of Events
Parties are booked in 2 hour time slots 10:30-12:30, 1:00-3:00 & 3:30-5:30.
Arrival Time: We allow the party hosts to set up 20 minutes in advance
While waiting for guests to arrive we put out coloring sheets and felts to keep the children occupied before we start the project. Throughout the party children are welcome to enjoy the toys, books and chalkboard in our play area as long as they are played with respectfully and not in a rough manner and are cleaned up afterwards.
The craft/project will be made during the first hour of the party and the second hour is for you to serve food, dessert, sing happy birthday, play games, open gifts, mingle, etc.
Departure Time: All guests are expected to depart when your party time ends. Host family is allotted 1o minutes to gather belongings and head out to give us time to clean and set up for the next party reservation.
Party Setup, FOOD & Decor
We have 2 tables (2 feet x 4 feet each) to use for set up of food, cake, party favours etc. as well as a 3 foot x 4 foot table by the front entrance to use (a good spot for gifts or party favours). We also have a mini fridge, a microwave and a Brita water filter for use if needed. We take care of all garbage and recycling. We do not have a freezer - if you require a freezer for a something like an ice cream cake we suggest bringing it in a cooler with icepacks. A square or small/medium rectangular cake will fit in our fridge.
Table cloths are optional for the food set up table (2 tables at 2 feet x 4 feet each). Table cloths are not needed for the front table or the table the children will eat at. We will sanitize it after the craft/project is complete.
If you park in the back lot please enter through the front entrance and we will give you access to the back entrance to easily unload your car.
Our studio is quite vibrant and colorful; we suggest less decor is better as it is easier for hosts to set up and take down as you have 20 min to set up and 10 min to take down
If ordering pizza delivery we suggest having it arrive at the half way point.
You are welcome to bring any any food & decor you'd like! All food & decor must follow the guidelines below:

✅ Ready to set out and serve (we do not provide bowls, trays, serving utensils or any specialty paper goods or beverages)
🚫 No hot food (no burners, hot plates or warmers
🚫 Alcohol is strictly prohibited
🚫 Confetti or piñatas that require hitting or hanging - ✅ Piñatas with pull strings are ok!
🚫 Decor that needs to be pinned to a wall
INVITATION INFO
Please let your guests know the start AND end time of your party on your invitation.
Creō Art Studio is located on Johnston Rd in White Rock directly across from White Rock Elementary: 1253 Johnston Road, White Rock, V4B3y9
Parking: Along with street parking located on Johnston Road and Prospect Ave, party hosts and guest may also park in the lot behind our building
MAXIMUM CAPACITY
You may have up to 21 people which includes party hosts, birthday child, kids invited and other adults. This is our maximum building capacity and we will not allow more than this.
Safety in the Studio
Rough housing, jumping on the couch and running in the studio is strictly prohibited - Party hosts are required to ensure it is stopped immediately if this occurs. Creō Art Studio and employees of Creō Art Studio will not be held responsible for any injuries that occur due to running or disobeying of studio rules.
We supply aprons to protect clothing during the project creation. As accidents sometimes happen we suggest leaving your best clothes at home if there is a concern about paint getting on clothes.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We do not offer refunds. A credit will be issued if your booking is cancelled 4 weeks prior to the party date. To cancel, please email the studio at least 4 weeks before party date.
Under all circumstances, cancellations made less than 4 weeks in advance will not receive a credit for their deposit as it is unlikely that we will be able re-book the date and time.
Date transfer requests made less that 4 weeks in advance will only be be able to transfer their deposit if we are able to re-book the original date/time, otherwise, an additional deposit is required to transfer to another date/time
